Visiting Venice for the Weekend

Last weekend the Donkey and I visited Venice for his 30th birthday. We were in Venice for 3 days, and were so lucky with the beautiful sunshine that we had over the weekend.

Reminiscent of moving to Dijon, France for University

This time five years ago (wah where does life go?!) I was about to embark on what was a really big change and journey in my life, I had opted to do a study abroad year. The country of choice was a foreign speaking country, France. Although scary at the time, this was one of the best things I have done in my life to date. 

When in Rome…
